April 2012 Edition
The 23rd April sets the tone for this month’s edition. It’s a day full of tradition. It is the day widely chosen to commemorate William Shakespeare´s birthday, although we have no definite proof. It is also St George’s Day, which, as we all know, is the patron Saint of England. George is a very busy Saint and manages to patronise Catalonia too, where the day is marked by Catalan couples showing their love for each other: the girls are showered with roses and the boys traditionally receive…..a book!
